3-Channel Tooth Treatment: How We Preserve “Difficult” Teeth with High Technology
When it comes to treating chewing teeth, we often deal with a complex, branched system of canals. Endodontic treatment of a 3-canal tooth requires the utmost precision, as leaving even one microscopic, unnoticed canal can lead to inflammation and tooth loss in the future.
In our clinic, we approach this process with the latest standards:
1. ციფრული დიაგნოსტიკა და ვიზიოგრაფია
Before starting treatment, it is necessary to determine the exact number, length, and shape of the canals. High-resolution digital X-rays allow us to see even what is invisible to the naked eye.
2. Apex location and endomotors
We no longer use the old, “blind” methods of root canal treatment. The apex locator measures the depth of the canal with micron accuracy, and modern endomotors and flexible nickel-titanium instruments allow us to perfectly treat even the most curved canals without damaging the tooth walls.
3. Ultrasonic irrigation
Cleaning the channels is not done only mechanically. Ultrasonic activation ensures the penetration of disinfectant solutions into the most inaccessible areas, which completely destroys bacteria and eliminates reinfection.
4. 3D gutta-percha filling
The canals are filled using the hot gutta-percha method. This means that the material fills the entire volume of the canal and all its branches (3D sealing), which guarantees a long life for the tooth.
Why is this important to you? High-tech treatment means less time in the dental chair, maximum painlessness, and, most importantly, tooth preservation for decades.
